If you thought your mom making you take out the trash was a treacherous journey, you wouldn't last a day in Frodo Baggin's shoes, or rather, huge feet. His goal is to destroy the One Ring. Sounds Easy enough, right? Wrong. The only way to destroy it is to drop it into Mount Doom after traversing deadly landscapes filled with orcs, giant spiders, and a plethora of other things that provide endless near-death experiences. Of course, if you imagined Mount Doom as an industrial shredder, you'd be wrong because it's actually a volcano!
We were fortunate enough to have a correspondent of ours schedule an interview with the now-legendary hero. Lisa planned to question Sir Frodo about his immense bravery and what others could do to save the world as he did. That would all change in a matter of moments.
"When he first walked in all was well", Lisa began, "but the moment I went to shake his little baby hand was the last thing I remember". These quotes were actually obtained from Lisa while she was in intensive care at a local hospital; she remains in stable condition after suffering from severe trauma and neck problems from a blow to her head. "When I came to, my wedding band was gone" Lisa recalls. "He thinks everyone has the ring now and he needs to be stopped. His paranoia is killing him here in our world."
Police are now on the lookout for the man pictured here. Frodo is about 4'1”. "Follow large footprints if you get the chance" warns Sacramento police. How did we arrive at the tragic downfall of the hero Frodo, savior of Middle Earth and criminal of Outer Earth?
The story begins in New Zealand...
