Martains have elected their new leader, human, Tom Delonge. Mars' new president has been part of Earth's biggest music hits hailing from a plethora of bands including Blink-182, Angels & Airwaves, and Boxcar Racer. Hits like:
across all groups have inspired Earthings to pick up a guitar and reflect on the deep emotions his music elicits, asking to contemplate the stars, but also cheerishing the beauty, mystery, and magic behind the one life we all have.
Although, Delonge's music has touched the 3 hearts of Martains...
non has been more popular or prominent on the red planet than "Aliens Exist", which as become the Martian National Anthem. We spoke with resident of Mars, Gloob "Two Toes" Oliveyes to explain just what it ment to them and the rest of their planet.
"It's huge" he started,"do you know what it's like to scream out to earth that you exist?" In space, there is no sound, but once humans landed on mars and brought music with them, it was a turning point.
"I said they know! They know!", Gloob recalls hearing Tom Delonge's voice and the seeing the name of the song as "a moment of visibility to a civilization that [they] thought would never be noticed".
That belief before exploration was what drew fellow Martians to admire Delonge.
'I know the CIA would say, "what you hear is all hearsay", I wish someone would tell me what was right'
- Aliens Exist"
"We knew he was speacial" continued Gloob. "Tom's persistance is what made our discovery seem less threatening, less chaotic, less confusing. He is our bridge to human connection", something that shall surly benefit the universe and all life that inhabit it.
